To form specific numbers in Japanese, we need to use combine single digit numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) and the base 10 numbers (i.e. 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000, etc.) to specify the value(s) of each digit. Let’s look at some specific examples:
